Smart Textile XL
Smart Textile XL is in its final stage of research and development (R&D) and focuses on the potential of textile-integrated sensor technologies. The system is designed to explore how embedded sensors and data-processing architectures may, in the future, contribute to improved monitoring and positioning within controlled clinical and care environments.
Within this research framework, integrated sensors, embedded processors, and a Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control architecture are being evaluated for their technical feasibility in capturing positional and physiological data. The components are positioned along predefined anatomical zones and are tested solely for signal quality, system stability, and data acquisition performance.
The Smart Textile XL concept also explores AI-based analytical methods—such as predictive modelling and Natural Language Processing (NLP)—for potential future use in automated feedback and rehabilitation support. These studies are limited to technical validation and algorithmic exploration.
